I use a registered office address for my one-person IT contracting company, and have done since 2019. This page exists because the code below is the thing people actually come here for, and because the results for "registered address discount code" are otherwise coupon aggregators promising 50 per cent off with codes that expired years ago.

Paste it into the discount code box on the registration page. The page confirms it has been applied before you pay, so you will know immediately whether it still works.
It is a referral code, and it works both ways: 15 per cent comes off your order and 15 per cent comes to me as commission. I have no other relationship with the company, and nobody has reviewed or approved this page.

What you are actually buying
Every UK limited company has to have a registered office address, and it goes on the public register at Companies House for anyone to search. If you do not buy one, it is your home address, permanently, for as long as the company exists and for years afterwards in the historical filings.
That is the whole problem a service like this solves. For a contractor working from a spare room, the alternatives are:
- Use your home address. Free. Your address is then published, indexed, and scraped into every business data broker and marketing list going. Expect post from company formation agents, pension cold callers and at least one outfit that will send you an invoice-shaped letter for a service you never ordered.
- Use your accountant's address. Often included in their fee. Fine while you are with them, and a change of accountant means a change of registered office.
- Buy a registered office address. Around the price of a couple of months of mobile phone line rental per year, at the time of writing. Statutory post from Companies House and HMRC is scanned or forwarded to you, and your home address stays off the public register.
Prices move, so check the current ones on the provider's own site rather than taking a figure off a page like this one.
The parts people get wrong
A registered office is not a trading address. It is where the statutory post goes. If you also want an address to put on invoices, a website and your email signature, that is usually a different, more expensive product. Read which one you are buying.
The director service address is separate. Your registered office covers the company. Your own correspondence address as a director is a separate field on the register, and if privacy is the reason you are here, that is the one that matters. Most providers bundle it; check that yours does.
Your residential address is still filed. Companies House holds it either way. What you are buying is that it is not the address published on the public record.
Post still has to reach you. A scanned-and-emailed service is fine for HMRC letters. If you expect real volume, or anything that has to arrive physically, look at what the forwarding actually costs on top.
Why I have not compared this against everything else
I have used one provider for years and I have not tested the rest, so this is a working code and an account of what the service does, not a comparison of the market. Several formation agents sell the same thing at similar prices and some bundle it with company formation for less. If price is the only thing you care about, it is worth half an hour of your time to check three of them.
What I can say is that the service has done what it says since 2019, the post has always arrived, and the code above still worked when this page was last checked.
Common questions
Does the code work on renewals as well as the first year?
It is applied at checkout on the order you use it on. Renewals are billed separately, so the discount does not carry over automatically. If you are renewing rather than signing up, check the price on the renewal screen before you pay rather than assuming a code applies.
Is a registered office address the same as a virtual office?
No. A registered office address is the statutory address Companies House and HMRC write to, and it goes on the public register. A virtual office usually means a business address you can use on invoices and a website, often with mail forwarding and sometimes with meeting rooms. Providers frequently sell both, and the cheaper plan is often the registered office only.
Can I use a service address to keep my home address off the public register?
Partly. A service address replaces the correspondence address shown for you as a director. Your usual residential address is still filed with Companies House but is not published, and it can be suppressed further under the rules that came in with the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act. If keeping your address private is the main reason you are buying, read what the provider says about the director service address specifically, not just the registered office.
